In addition to its charitable work, Kulbas also supports local manufacturing in Armenia. By producing the socks locally, the initiative is able to create jobs and stimulate the economy, while also ensuring the quality of its products.
Kulbas, directly translating to “socks” in Armenian, is a registered non for profit that intertwines Armenian history, culture and narratives with traditional Armenian rug designs to create contemporary sock styles.
These designs incorporate hidden symbolism and tell stories, making each pair not just a fashion statement but a testament to Armenia’s cultural legacy.
